What is Cosmetic Dentistry?
Cosmetic dentistry is an aspect of modern dentistry that allows us to conservatively restore your teeth back to their natural strength and beauty. It also allows us to enhance the appearance of your smile by closing gaps, straightening crooked teeth, lightening worn and chipped teeth, and whitening your teeth for a more youthful, clean and healthy looking smile.
It takes years of experience and advanced training to be able to design a natural looking smile. A Cosmetic dentist must be able to combine artistry with science to create a smile that looks undistinguishable from nature. Dr. Isaacson has pursued years of advanced training through continued education.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers make it possible for everyone to have a beautiful smile, not just celebrities. Dr. Isaacson wants you to know that you don’t have to live with less than dazzling teeth. Porcelain veneers can cover many imperfections in the teeth by bonding a thin shell directly to the tooth enamel. Although porcelain veneers are thin, they are extremely durable and stain-resistant. They come in different shades of white so you can select the color you prefer best. Dr. Isaacson will help you choose a natural-looking color, prep your teeth and then fit the porcelain veneers to your enamel.
If you have severely discolored teeth that don’t respond to tooth whitening methods, veneers can brighten your teeth. They can also correct a jagged or misshapen tooth. If you’ve suffered injury to your mouth you may have tiny cracks on the surface of your teeth. Porcelain veneers are very effective at covering cracks and chips in the enamel. Porcelain is a material very similar to the color, look and feel of natural tooth enamel. It is a very tough material as well which makes it a good choice to simulate the look of your teeth.
Dr. Isaacson will take impressions of your teeth to make customized veneers. Once they are bonded to the teeth, they will blend in seamlessly without any telltale signs that you’ve had any dental work done. People will only see your beautiful smile. Schedule a free consultation to learn more about how porcelain veneers can improve your look. In as little as three visits to Dr. Isaacson's cosmetic dentistry office, you can have a perfect smile worthy of the big screen.

Dr. Sands will put the implant into the bone under your gums. Over time the metal and bone material will fuse together, providing a strong foundation for crowns or bridges. An implant can be put in place without disturbing surrounding teeth. If you do not have enough bone to support the dental implant, bone grafting can be done to build up the jaw.
Dental Implants
Dental implants can replace individual missing teeth or be used a permanent non-removable dentures. Dental implants are made of titanium metal and acts like a root of a tooth. Dr. Isaacson will place the implant under the gums and over time the metal will fuse with the bone. Providing a strong foundation for crowns and bridges. Dental implants can be placed without disturbing adjacent teeth.
Dental implants can be inserted under local anesthesia. If you are a little wary about being awake for this procedure, you can discuss the possibility of sedation during the operation. Dental implants in the upper jaw may take longer to heal than those in the lower jaw. Missing teeth can contribute to bone loss in the jaw. The area underneath the missing tooth experiences a thinning of the bone after the tooth root is absent for some time. Dental implants stimulate the jawbone in a process called osseo integration, where the titanium implants and bone fuse together. This process can stabilize the mouth, keeping it strong as you age.
Unlike removable dentures, dental implant-based dentures fit perfectly and you won’t have to worry about them slipping out of your mouth or feeling uncomfortable. Some denture wearers or those with missing teeth find it difficult to eat certain foods. With dental implants from Dr. Isaacson, you can have the foods you’ve always enjoyed. Dental Bonding
Dental Bonding is a process that can fix minor imperfections of the teeth. This is a great solution if you have gaps, cracks, chips or stains in your teeth. Dental bonding is a procedure that usually requires only one visit to the dentist. For the dental bonding treatment Dr. Isaacson will prepare the tooth by roughing up the enamel with phosphoric acid. A bonding agent is applied and acts as glue that holds the resin in place. Next, the tooth-colored resin is put onto the surface of the teeth to be treated and a special light is used to harden the material. Dr. Isaacson will then contour your teeth into the desired shape.
The resin becomes very hard just like your natural tooth enamel. It can fortify your teeth and may be helpful for someone with damaged or compromised tooth structure. Dr. Isaacson uses high intensity curing lights to make the procedure go even faster. The curing lights are shined onto the teeth to harden the dental bonding resin in a shorter amount of time, perfect for busy people with packed schedules.
Dental bonding is just one procedure available at Dr.Isaacson's practice that can give you not only a healthier smile but a glowing smile. Invisalign®
If you’ve always wanted straighter teeth but hate the thought of metal braces, Invisalign® may be the treatment you’re looking for. Invisalign® is made of a clear material that fits snugly on top of your teeth. Every two weeks you receive a new Invisalign® tray that moves your teeth in small increments. Eventually your teeth will be in a straighter, closer position. Treatment may take anywhere from 6 months to a year. Dr. Isaacson will be able to determine how long your treatment with Invisalign® must be continued to see the results you desire.
The Invisalign® teeth straightening therapy involves a few simple steps. Dr. Isaacson will take impressions of your teeth. These impressions will be used to make the clear aligners used to correct your teeth. Through computer imaging you will be able to see the progression of your Invisalign® therapy and what your teeth will look like after your treatment is completed. After a few weeks you’ll return to Dr. Isaacson and receive your sets of invisible teeth aligners. You’ll wear the clear braces 24 hours a day and remove them only when necessary for two weeks. Then you’ll receive your next aligner and the process begins all over again until your teeth are in their new position.
Many people love Invisalign® not only because they are less noticeable than traditional metal braces, but they can be removed for brushing your teeth, flossing or eating. Since they can be taken out of the mouth, there are no restrictions on what you can eat or drink as with regular braces.
